Great Lakes Interchange Technology Corridor Debuts

May 02, 2006 - Troy, MI - The Great Lakes Interchange, a technology corridor debuted today at a press conference held at Automation Alley Headquarters. The new corridor, Great Lakes Interchange, is a collaboration between the cities of Rochester Hills, Troy, and Southfield, Lawrence Technological University, Oakland University and the Technology Center of Automation Alley, and Oakland County.

The Great Lakes Interchange is the first of eleven SmartZones<99> funded by State of Michigan's Economic Development Department and is the model for all the zones.

The Great Lakes Interchange creates a core of high-tech, educational and business networks that intend to draw new business to the tri-city area as well as enhance growing businesses.
